Shahid And Priyanka Have Something In Common

Shahid And Priyanka Have Something In Common

The on-off couple are being trained by Shahid's trainer Abbas and his brother Nadir Ali

Something in common: Shahid Kapoor
On-off couple Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor may not want to talk about their relationship but when it comes to fitness, they share a lot in common.

The actress has managed to shed the weight she had piled on for Saat Khoon Maaf thanks to Shahid's suggestion. It was Sasha who put PC on to her personal trainer Nadir Ali who is responsible for her current svelte look. Nadir is Sasha's trainer Abbas Ali's brother! Both the siblings have been putting the starry couple through the paces.

In shape
Says a source, "Priyanka had to pile on the kilos for her role in Saat Khoon Maaf. But as soon as the shooting finished, she was keen to lose it in preparation for her role as anchor of Fear Factor -- Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. She turned to Shahid for suggestions and he recommended Nadir as her trainer. He was extremely happy with Abbas's fitness regime for him. He was keen that his brother do similarly for PC."

Nadir began training the actress before the completion of the shoot of Saat Khoon Maaf in Coorg. The trainer is now part of her entourage and accompanies her for shoots. He is currently on location with her in Rio de Janeiro where she is shooting for Fear Factor. He also accompanied her to Malaysia for the wrap-up shoot of Anjaana Anjaani.

Says Priyanka, "I have been training with Nadir who looks after my diet intake. I had to look super fit to do the action sequence in Fear Factor. Next month I start shooting for Don 2 which requires me to be in ship-shape yet again."

Chilli sauce
Adds Nadir, "Priyanka is a foodie so I balance her workouts with a diet to match and that's specific to the region she is in. When she is shooting for long hours, there is no time to work out, so I increase her protein intake and lessen her carbs. If she has bland meals, I spice them up with chilli sauce. She loves the flavour."
