Last night, the announcement for Miss USA 2010 winner that was held in Las Vegas full of surprise. Rima Fakih, an Arab-American girl and Miss Michigan 2009, was crowned with Miss USA 2010 title. Fakih’s achievement directly or not has become a new record in the history of Miss USA. Rima Fakih is the first moslem who gets the title. “This is really amazing, this is a dream that comes true, I can’t say anything”, a Fakih’s supporter Rami Haddad(26) told to the press. Not only the first moslem who gets the title, but Fakih also becomes the first Michigan’s girl who won Miss USA title since 1993. More over, Haddad also said that Rima Fakih’s achievement can inpire Michigan people to reach their biggest dream. “This will give us a motivation”, Haddad said. Separately, Fakih’s title is not only celebrated by her supporters, but also being appreciated by American-Arab Anti Discrimination Commitee. “This is a new history”, the commitee rep.
